Pros

The Viam platform is probably the most interesting thing I've worked on in my decades-long career in tech. I'd honestly never done much with hardware prior to Viam, and now I'm building cool things all the time. Point being, this a platform that really does bridge the gap between software engineers and hardware, and I am lucky to be part of it!

Cons

We are early stage, so sometimes we don't have enough data to determine the priority of a given thing.

One of Viam's core values is "Succeed Through Diveresity". We believe the strongest teams are composed of people from diverse backgrounds, and we anticipate the diversity in the numerous ways humans will interact with robotics.

At Viam, we recognize the role we have in both building diverse teams as well as creating a robotics software solution for a diverse set of users and use cases.
