Affinity Groups
With the help of our employee-led affinity groups, we lead numerous awareness and engagement initiatives.
We have 14 employee-led affinity groups globally which give the opportunity for people that share a particular identity (and their allies) to talk about their shared experiences and issues affecting them. Some of our affinity groups include Women@Wellhub, Wellhub Black Power, Pride Club, AGW (Asians at Wellhub), Jews at Wellhub, and Juntos (Hispanic/Latinx).
As a global organization, we have set up regional groups that coordinate with their global counterparts. This allows Wellhubbers to gather with local peers and host meetings in their native language, but also share experiences with international colleagues who share their identification.
5 Year Commitment
In 2021, we launched a 5 Year Commitment to keep pushing for diversity, equity, and belonging in our processes, practices, and company culture. As part of this commitment, we created a Global Belonging Advisory Board to oversee the key company-wide initiatives and push for accountability and visible results.
The beginning of our journey
Our health and wellness concept began with our Co-Founder and CEO, Cesar Carvalho, in 2011. While working as a consultant at McKinsey & Co, he found it difficult to find reasonably priced gyms when traveling for work.
One year later, as Cesar was juggling an MBA at Harvard Business School and continuing work at McKinsey, he found himself still thinking about fitness options that were flexible, fun, and affordable. He left HBS and took the first steps toward building the company. In 2012, Cesar, along with friends Vinicius Ferriani and Joao Barbosa, founded Gympass, which became Wellhub in 2024.

Wellhub is a corporate wellness platform that connects employees to the best partners for fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep, all included in one subscription designed to cost less than each individual partner.

Team Responsibilities
Our Product Development team defines the product vision and strategy according to business goals, prioritizing the product roadmap for users, clients, and partners, and managing the end-user lifecycle, including global growth and retention.
Additionally, we build and maintain the technological backbone infrastructure, manage enterprise-wide governance, encourage the utilization of information (data) as an asset, and provide internal IT Infrastructure and HelpDesk services.
