This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.

AS A .NET DEVELOPER, YOU WILL:

• Develop, debug, inspect, and test software modules to meet the criteria and deliverables identified within the assigned task.
• Participate in the development process, including requirements discovery, architecture, development, and testing.
• Understand the company’s current software projects and used technologies, and ensure that all defined development policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
• Ensure that all development activities are delivered within agreed timescales, of high quality, and are fit for purpose.
• Research the alternatives, find the best technical solutions to implement certain functionalities systems, and provide documentation with technical specifications.
• Design loosely-coupled, reusable, and testable code structures.
• Conduct unit testing and code review development tasks.
• Understand use cases, process flows, and other functional and technical specifications to implement software solutions.
• Continuously study to keep skills up-to-date.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Associate degree or professional certification in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a similar field
• OR High School diploma or equivalent AND (2) two years of software/coding experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience working with .NET or similar code
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Needs to be an analytical thinker and problem solver who understands how developers will apply technology to solve a business problem
• Understanding of development methodologies, databases, and other software development technology
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a similar field
• Two (2) or more years of software/coding experience
• Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills and experience
• Experience creating web APIs
• Thorough knowledge of multi-tier programming
• Experience with Agile software development
• Experience using Javascript, jQuery, JSON, HTML 5, CSS 3, or AngularJS
• Familiarity with ORM tools, like Entity Framework or LLBLGen Pro
