Foundry Worker

1 Resource Group has immediate openings for Foundry Worker for the Coremaker/Molding department in Port Arthur, TX. As a coremaker/molding, you will play a crucial role in our operations. You will be responsible for assembling, molding, and finishing various components utilizing core-making techniques. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality products that meet the expectations of our clients and customers. This is a entry level position with room for growth!

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate molding machines to produce molded components.
Prepare and mix sand and resin to create molds and cores according to specifications.
Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot operational issues and implement process improvements.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Manage the inventory of materials and supplies needed for production.
Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in manufacturing processes

Clean printed cores using brushes and vacuums

Paint cores using mold wash either by brushing or flow coating or swabbing
Prepping cores by getting a partial fit
Operate a crane
Operate a front end loader
Operate a forklift
