Software Engineer in Test (temporary)

Join 10x Genomics in Pleasanton, CA, as a Temporary Software Engineer in Test for our Embedded Products. Make an impact on scientific research and help accelerate discoveries in the field.

Skills

5+ years in Embedded application development or testing
Strong experience in Python for writing automation scripts
Experience in Quality Assurance and UAT for cloud-connected devices
Knowledge of Pytest and detailed test case creation
Familiarity with UART/CAN and board level testing
Understanding of software build tools and CI/CD integrations
Strong debugging and analysis skills

Responsibilities

Develop test plans and scripts for comprehensive testing
Automate verification scripts and maintain automation framework
Build simulators and perform exploratory and regression tests
Support manufacturing test tool framework development

Education

Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
