Bain Capital Tech Opportunities is hiring Analysts!

We are seeking full time Analysts for summer 2024 start, based in Boston. The ideal candidates will have a strong academic record with prior internship experience within an investment bank, consulting firm, sales team, tech startups and/or personal experience as an entrepreneur. Candidates should exhibit the following skills and/or experiences:

We partner with exceptional entrepreneurs and management teams to help them succeed through critical phases of growth and expansion. We provide flexible capital, strategic and operational resources, and deep industry expertise backed by the global reach of the Bain Capital platform. Tech Opps focuses on large and growing end markets: application software, infrastructure and cybersecurity, healthcare IT, and fintech and payments. The fund targets companies with innovative or disruptive technology and supports their transformational growth.

Investments are deployed globally and across a broad array of archetypes, including mid-market control buyouts, late-stage growth capital, tactical opportunities, and cross-platform investments alongside other parts of Bain Capital.

WHAT TECH OPPORTUNITIES ANALYSTS DO

Bain Capital professionals are exposed to a broad set of situations and companies, and systematically develop skills as a value-added investor - not just a financial engineer. Analysts will learn how to evaluate investment opportunities through the application of fundamental strategic analysis in addition to the more traditional financial modeling.

Analysts serve as our front line in contacting and evaluating entrepreneurs with the hope of generating proprietary investment opportunities. In this role, they become a real part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and are expected to develop relationships with outstanding entrepreneurs.
