Pros

Its very simple they train better than most. First there is the Business Development Manager who is your day in and day out coach. Secondly there is on demand Herb Chambers University that you take when hired then again as needed. They have mastered objection responses that actually work. Third there is a 5 day live class with 2 trainers that have actually been successful BDC agents and managers so they really help because they have had to feed their families by answering phones and Internet leads in car dealerships. No fluff, just facts! Lastly the corporate trainers provide ongoing support by visiting each Herb Chambers dealerships whenever you ask :-) Soo much better than the typical non Herb Chambers BDC where they say "There is the phone ... Good Luck....." Not here. Also, usually only a 40 hour work week.

Cons

Open nights, weekends and some Holidays but that's retail so I get it.

Service & Parts

What They Do:
The Herb Chambers Companies service centers gather advisors, technicians, dispatchers and cashiers. These talented individuals understand the needs of our customers, ensuring our workflow is efficient, fixing vehicles, managing inventories, ordering parts, and so much more.

How They Do It:
Our team members enjoy state-of-the-art facilities and are trained to perform at their best — through ongoing education on the latest automotive technologies. Office & Accounting

What They Do:
Our Deal bookers and Payroll Specialists perform the general accounting of the dealerships. Our Registry Clerks are in charge of processing paperwork for vehicle sales, registering the vehicle with our in-house Department of Motor Vehicles and printing plates. Controllers oversee all dealer financials and make sure everything is in order before approving checks and balances. In some locations, an Office Manager is also there to support the Controller in ensuring that operations are running smoothly.
