Lead Environment Artist

Cloud Chamber is seeking a Lead Environment Artist who will help define and implement BioShock’s Creative Vision, leading a team of environment artists in creating immersive game environments.

Skills

5+ years of game development experience in environmental art
Leadership experience with at least 2 shipped titles
Knowledge of 3D Studio Max / Maya, ZBrush, Substance, Photoshop
Experience with UE5/UE4
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of world builders/level artists
Ensure artistic unity across the game
Collaborate with Design and Narrative Leads
Design modular systems of architecture for levels
Manage day-to-day activities of the World Environment Art Team
Provide objective feedback and establish development schedules

Education

Degree in Art or a related field preferred
