911 Analyst

What We Are Looking For:

The 911 Analyst will successfully coordinate internally with NOC, engineering, development, TAC, CSM teams and externally with PSAPs, State Agencies, LECs, PSAP Vendors, ESGW Providers, ALI providers and Bandwidth customers to ensure the quality and integrity of the Bandwidth 911 data.

What You'll Do:

• Troubleshoot and resolve 911 call issues, ALI discrepancies, NRF, misroutes, referred by customers, PSAPs, LECs
• Coordinate with PSAPs to verify coverage area, contact information and update PSAP boundaries (shapefiles)
• Analyze and reconcile MSAG validation fallout to ensure proper 911 addresses
• Support PSAP Vendors in facilitating ALI and Voice migrations to NG911
• Schedule and initiate PSAP test calls as needed for troubleshooting and PSAP migrations
• Create Address/Geocode overrides for proper mapping and routing of 911 calls to the PSAP
• Document processes and procedure for internal and external users
• Integrate MSAGs from LEC and ALI Vendor 911 databases into Bandwidth 911 systems
• Document processes and procedure for internal and external users
• Assist Development and Engineering teams to increase capabilities of Bandwidth 911 systems

What You Need:

• College degree or equivalent work experience within PSAP or telephony industry in related field
• 3+ years in Bandwidth, PSAP or E911 databases
• Knowledge of differences in VOIP, NG911, and Legacy 911 call routing; NENA standards/requirements
• Detail oriented with STRONG analytical skills
• Ability to excel in team environment with a spirit of collaboration to emphasize total cooperation and mutual respect
• Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Proficient with multiple data exchange formats, CSV files, Excel, and Google Sheets
