Android Developer
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mid-Level Android Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and native Android development. As part of our mobile engineering team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining advanced applications for the Android platform, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain high-quality native Android applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and design patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Write unit and instrumentation tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Maintain documentation for software projects.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Android app development.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and strong understanding of Android SDK.
- Experience with Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, etc.).
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON for mobile integration.
- Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes.
