With the robust pipeline and strategic initiatives underway, the need to provide additional support to Global Commercial Operations is critical. To fulfill this, we are searching for a qualified Strategic Planning and Project leader to work closely with the Global Commercial Operations support team. This role will have an immediate impact by assisting in streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing projects, and communicating objectives between groups.Reporting to Director, Strategic Projects, this position will serve as providing tactical support to Global Commercial Operations, planning and executional operational activities to ensure the vision and objectives of the Global Commercial Operations organization are achieved. This position will organize and prioritize critical issues, obtain required information, and oversight to key projects and initiatives. Additionally, this role will partner closely with the Business Units, and other extended functions as needed to provide operational and strategic support and optimize how we deliver to our strategic priorities, initiatives, and related processes.Key Responsibilities:• Partner with Global Commercial Operations support team to determine and prioritize key projects, initiatives, and related processes.• Maintains a strong understanding of AbbVie’s Commercial products and pipeline portfolio.• Oversee the collection, synthesis, and communication of relevant information that informs Global Commercial Operations strategies and projects.• Develops and delivers executive level presentations covering strategic initiatives, organizational updates, and other critical information.• Plan, coordinate and keep contents of keys meetings to ensure focused meeting cadences and outcomes.• Partners closely with other functions to ensure clarity and seamless ways of working• Effectively manage the execution of multiple projects with demanding timelines for successful delivery ensuring clarity, consistency and effectiveness of messages and follow through.• Interact regularly with multiple levels of the organization from senior leadership to cross-functional stakeholders to provide communications counsel and implement strategic communications in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.• Maximizes opportunities to highlight best practices and shared learnings across Global Commercial Operations and cross-functional partners to reduce duplication of efforts.• Ensures processes are in place to support integrated planning, operations, and process execution.• Develops and maintains business relationships across functional areas across AbbVie to implement frameworks that ensure Global Commercial Operations expertise, capabilities, and resources are leveraged appropriately across the different portfolio of work.Key Stakeholders:• Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer• Global Commercial Operations Area, Direct and Extended teamsQualifications• Bachelor’s degree required.• At least 8 years industry experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical or other healthcare related field.• Experience leading/organizing broad organizational initiatives and working with cross-functional teams, demonstrating an executive-level presence.• Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively synthesize ideas and document complex processes in both written and oral communication.• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, with general knowledge of AbbVie branding style.• Project Management experience on global projects, with a proven ability to act with urgency and operate independently.• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with strong ability to prioritize tasks and act decisively.• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills, capable of managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels.• Proven track record of anticipating and resolving problems while exhibiting judgement and a balanced, realistic understanding of issues.Additional InformationApplicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
