As a Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for administering the Compensation Strategy for the organization. This position is also responsible for performing project work as needed to help support ArcBest and its various subsidiaries.Your Contribution May Include• Analyze job descriptions and market data for internal and external alignment of compensation across the organization.• Assign salary scales for all Senior Director and below roles in the organization.• Prepare reports, such as organization and flow charts, and career path reports, to summarize job analyses for roles.• Approve requisitions within HRIS and work with Recruiting and business leaders in all compensation offers.• Prepare evaluation and compensation analysis information by department.• Prepare compensation increase schedules and advise leadership on step increases.• Assess need for and develop job analysis instruments and materials.• Research job and worker requirements, structural and functional relationships among jobs and occupations, and occupational trends within labor markets.• Assist in the administration of the Executive Compensation Plans.• Administer incentive compensation plans.• Coordinate and effectively communicate with leadership and employees regarding the Company’s Compensation Strategy, pay tier assignments, geographical differentials, and all compensation offers.• Improve efficiency in current processes.• Lead and organize special projects.• Other duties and projects, as assigned.As a Compensation Analyst, you will be a member of the ArcBest People Services team in Fort Smith, AR. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.Ready to apply?
