We are looking for a Machine Shop Technician (2nd Shift) to support manufacturing operations for a satellite launch vehicle. We seek team members who have an ability to think critically when performing tasks to improve manufacturing processes. This role will require a basic understanding of manufacturing processes including deburring and other post-machining processes. This individual will be a key conduit between machining operations and our quality department ensuring components meet all requirements before they are ready for precision inspection. The Machine Shop Technician role will have growth opportunities for advancement into various Machine Shop roles. **2nd Shift Hours are 3:00pm to 1:30am | 10 - hour Shifts, 5 days per week**
We manufacture parts from both billet material and additively manufactured parts:
· Aluminum
· Steel
· Stainless Steel
The Machine Shop Technician is a non-exempt role and employees will be scheduled by operations leadership in accordance with ABL Space Systems Time and Attendance Policy. This role will be the critical link between machined hardware and precision inspection.
ITAR Requirement
This position requires access to information protected under US export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, US person status (including US citizens, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted U.S. asylum status, or individuals admitted in U.S. refugee status) is a required qualification for this position.
