ABS Warehouse Data Analytics Manager

Overview:

The Warehouse Funding Manager - Treasury is responsible for analyzing and recommending appropriate medium-term funding options for the company, managing and developing direct reports, reviewing the accuracy of borrowing base certificates, monthly certificates and various miscellaneous reports, determining and implementing appropriate changes in term revolver platform reporting (i.e. streamlining of processes, database management) as well as developing an in-depth knowledge of all financing transaction documents. This team member must possess a strong corporate finance background, as well as strong analytical/problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

JOB DUTIES

Lead and manage team members to achieve organizational effectiveness and goals set by senior management
Initiate research and recommend funding options for GM Financial's business
Collect, compile and analyze complex fiscal data in order to monitor the liquidity position of the company
Work collaboratively with team members to enhance knowledge of existing borrowing facilities
Create, review and improve existing Treasury reports
Maintain awareness of current market conditions in relation to external funding options
Coordinate daily and monthly reporting certificates
Perform other duties as assigned
Conform with all company policies and procedures
Establish and maintain clear lines of communication with upper management and other team members concerning funding decisions
Assist AVP in evaluating departmental staffing requirements as needed as well as conducting employee evaluations, salary recommendations and corrective actions as needed
Communicate to AVP issues as they arise

Qualifications:

Knowledge

Advanced knowledge of finance principles
Advanced working knowledge of large data sets in RDBMS
Strong financial forecasting and reporting
Preparing financial statements
Advanced working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Advanced working knowledge of Excel
Procedures for compiling financial data
Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting
Advanced working knowledge of the securitization methodologies
Advanced working knowledge of Bloomberg
Advanced knowledge of capital markets and financial analysis
Advanced knowledge of treasury functions and overall cashflow of the business
Experience in Conduit reporting preferred

Skills

Strong technical and analytical/problem solving skills
Extremely organized with great attention to detail as well as excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Good leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead, coach and direct the work of others
Ability to independently develop and analyze alternative solutions and make recommendations
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Visual Basic and Rapid SQL

Education

Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience

3-5 years of financial/data analysis experience required
supervisory experience required

Work Environment

Hybrid Working Model, minimum 2 days a week in office

Salary: The base salary range for this role is: USD $86,300.00 to $159,700.00. At GM Financial, we strive for transparency in all aspects of our business, including pay equity. This is the GM Financial pay range for this role and job level. The exact salary and compensation will vary based on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This role is eligible to participate in a performance-based incentive plan. Full time employees are eligible to participate in health benefits on day one of employment.
