Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
Provide academic advising and other services to support the mission of the undergraduate student services office, specifically advising, auditing and maintaining student records, providing informational analysis, and participating in orientations, Develop and facilitate the colleges undergraduate teaching assistant training program. Develop programming to increase recruitment to the college. Assist the college with New Student Welcome, Career Day, Graduation and commencement. Represent the college at on campus events and meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education:
Master’s degree.
Required Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in an institution of higher education.
- Demonstrated experience with strong attention to detail with a significant level of complexity and strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferences:
Preferences:
- Previous academic advising experience or knowledge of student development theory.
- Previous supervision of students and or teaching assistants.

Physical Demands
This is a primarily a sedentary position involving extensive use of desktop computers. The position does occasionally require walking some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
