Behavior Intervention Specialist
ACCEL Schools is looking for a Behavior Intervention Specialist to provide support to at-risk students in a nurturing learning environment at Northside Preparatory Academy.
Skills
- Functional Behavior Assessments
- Behavior Intervention Plans
- Crisis intervention techniques
- Microsoft Office proficiency
Responsibilities
- Develop individualized behavior tracking and intervention programs
- Serve on IEP Teams and develop relationships with students requiring intervention
- Consult with teachers and parents to find positive solutions for behavior modification
- Monitor student attendance and develop Absence Intervention Plans
- Maintain accurate records and files consistent with school policies
Education
- Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or related field
- Intervention Specialist license preferred
