Account Executive

Data Axle provides data, applications, and services that help organizations make and save money. Our commitment to accuracy, service and innovation drive customer acquisition, retention, and product enhancement. We are currently seeking an Account Executive - LGM.

This role is responsible for supporting senior sales team members in originating, developing, and maintaining key client relationships by facilitating mailer/client requests for postal mail strategies, email list recommendations and strategies, pricing negotiations, trafficking, and billing of specific clients. Responsibilities also include analyzing a client's business issue(s), develop recommendations and assist our clients to implement enhancements to support their marketing strategies.

Essential Job Functions: *

  • Develop and maintain key client relationships to understand their business needs and goals as well as provide tailored solutions that meet their data requirements.
  • Analyze mailers historical data and make recommendations on direct mail or email lists for future campaigns.
  • Manage order entry into the Lake Group legacy system and Nextmark brokerage system.
  • Ensure client instructions and requirements are accurate for the successful execution of mailer campaigns.
  • Develop and implement orders with mailer specifics with list owner requirements, ensuring compliance and quality of mailer campaigns.
  • Understanding of mailer responsibilities using third party data .
  • Manage order delivery to client's service bureau, validating quantities, confirming pricing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to new clients and established long-term clients, responding to the needs of the client by determining the course of action to take, and executing that action.
  • Create list recommendations and testing strategies based on mailer's historical performance to identify opportunities for revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the Company and with business contacts outside the Company in an articulate, professional manner.
  • Ability to collaborate, work effectively and contribute within a team environment and with clientele.
  • Basic understanding of NexMark System.
  • Knowledge of Dart/Atlas mail planning tools.*
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and virtual meeting tools.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with high level of attention to detail.
  • Work well within a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to respond to direction and instructions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to conduct and host virtual meetings.

Education, Experience, and Certification: *

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.*
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.*
  • Previous postal/email brokerage experience.
  • Minimum requirements needed to perform the job.
