Accounting Associate II (Jacksonville, FL Based)

Responsible for operational functions as it relates to cash receipts. Will also contact banks to obtain additional information about bank adjustments and record appropriately. Position in corporate cash receipts will enter daily deposits and reversals into various enrollment systems. Associate will perform validations, research, and correct any cash discrepancies. Requires a moderate understanding of the cash process.

This Accounting II Associate role provides administrative, technical or support functions to the Corporate Finance team, department of business unit and is focused on servicing internal customers or supporting units that service providers or external customers.

This is a role that is required to work on-site at our GuideWell Corporate office in Jacksonville, FL.

What you will be doing:

  • Enter payments and reversals in multiple enrollment systems
  • Research cash exceptions
  • Process cash transfers received
  • Validate/Balance payments to ensure accuracy
  • Various task duties based on changing work situation

What you must have:

  • 2+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage tasks independently, take ownership of responsibilities and meet deadlines

General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Typical Hourly Pay Range: $19 - $23

Hourly Pay Range: $19 - $31

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
