Accounting Intern

Job Description

Under general supervision, is responsible for assisting in basic accounting, bookkeeping, and clerical duties.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have some data entry experience.

Skills & Requirements

• Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures, principles, practices and techniques.

• Solid working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office products

• Skilled in operating a personal computer and ten key adding machine

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

• Must be organized with ability to multitask

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Assist in account reconciliations

• Assist in performing journal entries

• Assist in maintaining files and records on all transactions

• Must be a college student enrolled in an accounting or related field.
