The Day-to-Day
The Accounts Payable Manager will have oversight of the global processing of accounts payable invoices, disbursements, expense management, vendor inquiries, operating cash management, corporate card expenses, and reporting. In addition, this role is responsible for the continuous development of team members, which includes identifying and nurturing talent and promoting a positive work environment.
- Lead a team; provide balanced workloads, training, coaching, goal setting and performance reviews

Manage vendor activity, monitor and coordinate with our financial partners (banks, travel agency, and Concur), provide weekly cash forecasting & reporting, etc.

Drive month-end close activities including account reconciliations and month end cut-off entries; assist with analyzing expenses versus forecast with Financial Planning and Analysis team

Establish and maintain strong internal controls and manage all regulatory activities related to accounts payable including 1099 process and FATCA reporting, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations

Assist with merger and acquisition projects

Drive process improvement and automation efforts

Enforce compliance of company policies and procedures

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field-
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with demonstrated leadership experience (formal or informal)

A broad understanding and appreciation of accounting practices outside of Accounts Payable

Highly collaborative communication style and practice

Experience with internal controls
