Accounts Payable Specialist (JA1)

Position – Accounts Payable Specialist (Part-Time (estimated at 30 hours/week))

Location – Conejo Valley

Pay Rate - $32-$34/hour

Job Site Status (Remote/Hybrid/Onsite) – This role is 100% remote for the Southern California resident.

Duration – Our client estimates a two-three (2-3) month project for this stint.

Job – Addison Group Los Angeles, on behalf of our client based out of the Conejo Valley, seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist on an interim basis of two-three (2-3) months.This role is estimated to be a thirty (30) hour/week role.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST DUTIES

Accounts Payable

• Perform standard A/P matching, batching, coding, entering, posting, reconciling of transactions (estimated 300-500 invoices/weekly)
• Prepare list of monthly A/P accruals to support month-end close
• Prepare and process weekly A/P aging report and A/P check run
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Obtain corporate department head approvals on all invoices received
• Schedule payment runs according to due date and ensure all prompt-pay discounts are taken

Vendor Management

• Set up new vendors
• Edit relevant information of current vendors
• Proactively communicate with vendors to resolve A/P issues
• Maintain all relevant documents to meet any compliance requirements

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• At least three (3) years of full-cycle AP experience
• A demonstrated ability to process at least 300 invoices on a weekly basis
• High School Diploma
