At Leggett & Platt Aerospace, we specialize in manufacturing complex tube and duct assemblies using high-performance materials capable of withstanding extreme pressure, temperature, and chemicalinteraction.

After our materials have gone through the necessary processes, Leggett supplies high-performancefinished goods that are ready to be incorporated into assemblies for our customers.

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking an Accountant for its Western Pneumatic Tube branch in Kirkland, WA, specializing in Aerospace tubing. In this role, you will report to the Director of Finance. Within our local branch, you will be responsible for the daily Acounts Payable (AP) function and as a backup to Timekeeping tasks. What will you be doing?

• Responsible for Fully Acounts Payable cycle process and be back up for Timecard entry
• Review and monitor daily receiving logs (paper copy) to system entries
• Print and stamp vendor invoices daily as received
• Prepare three-way match packages with approved PO, Packaging slip and Vendor invoice for voucher entry into business system (AccuTerm)
• Review and resolve any three-way match discrepancies per Policy
• Enter vendor invoices into the business system
• Prepare posted voucher batch for accuracy review and approval
• Submit any coding error journal entries as necessary to Sr. Accountant
• Reconcile Corporate Purchase card (credit card) charges daily in Concur
• Enter Cost-cards from work centers in our business system daily
• Prepare weekly check runs from approved and selected AP Batches
• Print and mail AP checks to vendors
• Preparing AP accrual batches at Month End
• Reconcile Vendor statement monthly. Screen and manage vendor inquiries for payment, disputes, or any delays
• Assist Sr. Accountant with work order review & Close process
• Review daily receipt accuracy for raw material and shop PO’s
• Assist with annual internal audit requests, Year-end Physical inventory and other projects as assigned within the area of responsibility

We’re looking for someone with:

• Two years of accounting experience in Accounts Payable
• Ability to communicate with branch management and articulate the problem to individuals outside accounting department and external vendors
• Able to understand SOX compliance and internal controls relating to AP process and follow the Policy and Procedures guidelines
• Computer Skills including MS office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
• HS Diploma or GED
• Attention to details and data entry accuracy.

Pay Range: $20-24 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-time, on-site, 40 hours per week
