The Team:

Datadog's Finance team collaborates with teams across the organization, providing commercial, operational and analytical support to ensure that Datadog's business continues to grow as rapidly and efficiently as possible.

The Opportunity: 

The Datadog finance team is rapidly scaling and looking for an AR Analyst. This role will join the billing team to streamline the collections process.

You Will: 

• Notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone.
• Monitor overdue accounts, receive payments and post amounts paid to customer accounts.
• Manage incoming billing inquiries and collectability concerns. Triage accordingly to revenue, sales, and customer success teams. 
• Participating in the annual audit and quarterly reviews performed by our auditors, including revenue/AR walkthroughs and the preparation of PBCs
• Help customers understand their bills, which vary with usage and plan type
• Preparing statements for a third-party credit agency if a customer fails to respond.
• Ad-hoc projects as they arise

You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or a similar degree)
• Minimum 1 year work experience (public accounting / SaaS experience a plus)
• Number cruncher - Google Spreadsheet and Excel experienced
• People-person - love building relationships in-person, over-the-phone, or via email
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on, love new challenges, and love to improve existing processes

Bonus points:

• Salesforce.com experience a plus
• NetSuite experience a plus
