Coffman Engineers is seeking an engineer who is passionate about their craft, wants to work on a high-functioning team, and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow with a multi-discipline engineering team, and be willing to have fun.
The ideal candidate will have a work history that includes management or oversight of individuals performing acoustical consulting services for external and internal clients utilizing acoustical engineering technical skills. Experience with reverberation time, noise control, environmental noise, sound level measurements, vibration analysis and measurements, architectural acoustics design and modeling software. Experience with mechanical noise control methodologies such as ASHRAE are useful. Strong interest in the science of sound, noise, and vibration is required. This opportunity is for the candidate who can work well as a team player in a growing new acoustical group that works on projects across the world for a variety of clients.
The position is hybrid where the staff are in-person three days a week (minimum) and have the option to work remotely two days a week. The optional remote workdays of the week are currently Thursday and Friday. These guidelines are reassessed periodically.
