The American Red Cross Association

Coffman Engineers raised donations in support of the thousands of Louisianans that were affected by the record rainfall and flooding. Employees donated $6,220 and the company matched the amount bringing the total to $12,440. The donation was made to the Washington Greater Inland Northwest Chapter of the American Red Cross on behalf of the whole company.

 

 

Growing eWeek on the Island of Guam

Coffman Engineers reached out to local public/private high schools and middle schools, helping provide over 70 classroom presentations, speaking to over 3,800 students during Engineers Week.

 

 

SAME Bridge Building Competition

Coffman Engineers helped organize the 5th Annual H. Dean Gilham Bridge Design Competition at the Society of American Military Engineering event. This bridge building competition encourages high students to be creative and pursue their interest in engineering.

 

 

Kids at Heart

Coffman Engineers attended the Kids at Heart Luncheon that benefits the Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.

 

 

American Cancer Society Walk

Team Coffman had an amazing time walking for a great cause and raised $725. It was an early morning 3-mile walk, but the route along the water at Ke’ehi Lagoon Beach Park was well worth the early start! Over 4,000 walkers attended the event to help raise over $185,000 for the American Cancer Society and to bring more awareness about the risks of breast cancer.

 

 

Canstruction

The Coffman team built an award-winning structure for the 11th Annual Canstruction event. This year’s sculpture of Astronaut Ellison S. Onizuka was awarded Most Cans, People’s Choice and Honorable Mention! Coffman donated 1,015 pounds of food through the structure and helped the event in total raise 22,725 pounds for the Hawaii Foodbank!

 

 

BOMA

Coffman Engineers’ Los Angeles office donated toys, food, and clothing to the Annual BOMA/GLA Toy Drive. Year after year, this drive has supported a number of deserving charities and those less fortunate.

 

 

Alaska Mountain Rescue Group

Coffman Engineers sponsored the Twin Peaks Race put on as a fundraiser by the Alaska Mountain Rescue Group (AMRG). The AMRG is a nonprofit volunteer search and rescue organization based in Anchorage, Alaska, dedicated to providing search and rescue services in Alaska

Atlanta Braves SunTrust Park and Battery Development

Atlanta, Georgia

Coffman provided fire protection and life safety consulting for the mixed-use development surrounding the Atlanta Braves stadium. The development included four multi-family residential blocks, retail, office, parking, hotel, and entertainment buildings.

 

 

Kewalo Basin Harbor Improvements

Honolulu, Hawaii

Coffman was the designer of record for a renovation and improvements to the existing Kewalo boat harbor. Coffman provided civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering for the new piers, fuel tanks, power, and security features.

Coffman provides insightful advice, design, and custom solutions. Our team of professionals offer complete life cycle services for upstream, midstream, and downstream projects. We work some of the largest national producers to small locally owned companies to explore ways to reduce costs, improve safety, maximize operations, and find comprehensive solutions across the energy chain.

 

 

Nordstrom Stores

Various Locations

Coffman is the structural/seismic engineering consultant to the Nordstrom brand for over 30 years. We have provided services for more than 100 new retail stores and evaluated existing stores for compliance with current codes since 1979.

 

 

Harborview Hospital

Seattle, Washington

Coffman has provided various services and support for the Harborview Hospital including a sustainable design of the mechanical systems to reduce operating costs. We continue to provide services using the progressive design-build delivery method.

 

 

Host Hotels and Resorts

Coffman supports Host Hotels and Resorts on retrofit design, due diligence surveys, and fire alarm system upgrades and assessments for locations across the US.
