Job Title: Director of Technology and E-Commerce

Salary Range: $2300 - $3300/month

Location: 100% Remote

Responsibilities:

Technology Leadership:

• Develop and implement the technology strategy to support Schneider Saddlery’s business objectives and growth.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and IT systems.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology procurement to ensure cost-effective solutions and services.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of all technology systems and platforms.

E-Commerce Management:

• Lead the development and optimization of our e-commerce platform to drive online sales, improve customer experience, and enhance website functionality.
• Analyze e-commerce performance metrics, such as traffic, conversion rates, and sales, to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to design and execute e-commerce strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our e-commerce platform remains competitive and innovative.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing technology and e-commerce team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
• Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development for team members.
• Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration to align technology and e-commerce initiatives with business objectives.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

• Develop and manage strategic plans for technology and e-commerce projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Work closely with senior leadership to align technology and e-commerce strategies with overall business goals.
• Monitor and report on the performance of technology and e-commerce initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 
• An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in technology and e-commerce management, with a track record of success in leading digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and web analytics tools.
• Proven experience in managing technology infrastructure, IT systems, and technology teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
