The Director of Marketing is a senior team member responsible for overseeing and executing the marketing activities and strategies for Seller Universe. The role is vital in driving business growth, shaping brand value, and brand perception, and ensuring the company’s people, products, or services are effectively marketed.

Key responsibilities and duties:

1. Strategic Planning and Leadership

  • Develop Marketing Strategy: Craft and execute marketing strategies that align with the overall brand vision, business goals, focusing on brand growth, market share, and profitability.
  • Lead Marketing Team: Oversee and guide the marketing department, ensuring that the team is aligned on the vision, and has the resources and direction to execute the strategy effectively.
  • Align with Business Goals: Collaborate with other executives (e.g., CEO, CFO, VPs) to ensure marketing initiatives align with company goals, sales objectives, and product development.
  • Develop Marketing Plans: Create and execute comprehensive marketing plan that align with the company’s objectives, focusing on target markets, messaging, and positioning.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive positioning to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Support Business Goals: Ensure marketing strategies support sales, revenue and overall business objectives.

2. Brand Management

  • Brand Positioning: Ensure the company’s brand is well-positioned in the market and resonates with the target audience.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain consistency in messaging across all marketing channels, ensuring the brand’s voice and values are clear.
  • Build Brand Awareness: Develop strategies to grow brand awareness, ensuring the brand is well-positioned in the market and resonates with target customers.
  • Maintain Brand Integrity: Ensure all marketing activities align with the brand’s guidelines and that brand voice, image, and values are communicated consistently across all channels.

3. Market Research and Insights

  • Drive Customer Acquisition: Design strategies to attract new customers through targeted campaigns and optimized marketing funnels.
