Job Title: QA Website SpecialistSchedule: US Time Zone (EST)Salary: $1,000 - 2,000 USD/monthOverview of the Role:We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Website Specialist to ensure the highest quality of our digital platforms. This role is responsible for testing, analyzing, and ensuring the functionality, usability, and performance of our website, providing a seamless experience for our customers. Come get in our kitchen and help us shape the future of cookware for everyone.Responsibilities:• Website Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of the website, including functional, usability, performance, and security testing, to identify and resolve issues before they impact the user experience.• Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs and defects, collaborating with developers and designers to ensure timely resolution and retesting of fixes.• Cross-Device and Cross-Browser Testing: Ensure the website performs consistently across various devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) and browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).• Test Plan Development: Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of all website features and functionalities.• Automation: Implement and maintain automated testing scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.• Collaboration: Work closely with the development, design, and content teams to understand new features and enhancements, providing feedback and ensuring they meet quality standards.• User Experience (UX) Testing: Conduct user experience testing to ensure the website is intuitive, user-friendly, and meets customer expectations.• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor website performance, load times, and responsiveness, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring optimal user experience.• Compliance and Standards: Ensure the website complies with industry standards, best practices, and accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG).• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test results, issues, and fixes, providing regular reports to the team and management.Requirements:• At least 2 years experience in website development• Proven experience in website quality assurance and testing.• Proficiency with testing tools and software (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Browser Stack).• Strong understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and best practices.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.• Love of food and cooking! Cooking skills and/or experience in the culinary industry are a plus.
