Overview:
Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 13 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio. Responsibilities & Requirements:
Provides leadership, direction, and coordination of operations in a manner consistent with organizational mission and objectives. The Acute Care President demonstrates and supports the spiritual mission and the faith-based culture of Kettering Health. Assumes responsibility for all aspects of internal and external operations and programs which include: All hospitals, Nursing, Service Lines, Supply Chain, Security, Transport, and Kettering College. Supervisory responsibility for Acute Care facility Presidents and Administrators. Key to success in this role is the development and deployment of a system wide quality and safety program, leading in a manner that enhances team member and physician engagement, growing market share and margin in a manner that considers the need for balanced lifestyle of clinicians.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business Administration)
Master's Degree (preferably in Health Care Administration)
Appropriate continuing education courses

A minimum of 10 or more years of progressive leadership experience in acute care management is required. Experience in an acute care setting of $500M + in revenues. Working experience with private practice, group practices, employed physicians, and academic is desired. P&L experience of $500M+ in revenue. Need to be able to demonstrate a track record of improving performance over time across key domains.

Professional Affiliations
Membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and other appropriate professional organizations is considered a helpful element of this position. Participation in community organizations which will enhance the effectiveness of the incumbent, or the hospital is encouraged.
