ResponsibilitiesContributes to the design of multi-channel projects from start to finish, including ideation, brief creation, wireframing, and final execution under the Director’s guidance and supervision.Collaborates with others to design email, web, and landing page designs in Figma and then implements the designs into Optimizely and Delivra. It also assists with the creation and content updates of additional web pages.Implement brand standards and utilize the design system, blocks, and components on the website, including pages for our awards, events, and chapters for a holistic user experience.Works with other members of the design team to create interactive and animated assets for use in social media, web, and video that highlight campaigns, events, thought leadership, and initiatives.Collaborates with internal teams and cross-functional partners such as Storytelling, Digital Experience, Events, Content Development, and Marketing to produce on-brand design assets that support business objectives and marketing goals.Attends regular meetings and sprint planning meetings with the Digital Experience team.Occasionally work with external agencies and vendors (design, photography, video, etc.) to ensure the successful execution of design projects, print production, and website development.Applies a thorough understanding of our target audience and market trends to create designs that resonate with stakeholders and drive engagement.Assist in training the Marketing Department team members and others as needed on updating content on the website.Helps to implement organization-wide use of the brand and assists in ensuring that all assets and components are within Brand GuidelinesSupports the in-house Brand team with the creation of other marketing projects and deliverables, such as static social graphics, ads, and marketing collateral as needed.Helps to coordinate and review projects and other job-related duties as requested.Education & Qualifications3-5+ years’ experience in Web design, User Experience design, and animationExperience in UX/UI designKnowledgeable in design for accessibility and 508 compliance for accessibility.Bachelor's degree in art, design, or related field.Technical ExperienceFigma, XD, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere and Microsoft Office 365.Adobe Creative Cloud including Firefly, InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoshopHTML and CSS. JavaScript a plus.Content management systems such as OptimizelyEmail systems such as Delivra or MarketoSEO optimizationThorough understanding of design principles, typography, color theory and layout design.Able to present design ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects.Artistic with a keen eye for aesthetics and visually appealing content.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Deadline-driven and ability to multi-task and work independently.Experience creating data visualizations, charts, graphs, and infographics.
