Entry-Level Accountant

Position Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented and ambitious Entry-Level Accountant to assist in the day-to-day accounting activities of our organization. The Entry-Level Accountant will work under the supervision of senior accounting staff and gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions.Responsibilities:• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports• Assist with bank reconciliations and journal entries• Help maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts• Prepare and post month-end close entries• Assist in the preparation of financial audits and tax filings• Perform data entry and administrative duties as needed• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and analyses as assigned• Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field• Internship or some work experience in accounting or finance preferred• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work• Excellent organizational and time management skills• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
