Fund Accountant

The ideal candidate will Possess a good understanding of how funds are being accounted for pursuant to the governing fund documents, advisory agreements, and other legal documents.• Assists with fund distribution and capital call calculations, associated payments are made/received timely, and Yardi is updated and maintained accordingly.• Prepares journal entries, reconciliations, analysis• Processes fund transactions, including payments to vendors and issuing checks.• Assists with fund budgeting, forecasting, and other reporting activities.Qualifications• Preferred at least three (3) years of financial accounting experience in real estate investment, real estate development, private equity, or investment advisory or two (2) years of public accounting experience.• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting.• Good knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, etc.
