Job Duties
• Ensuring the company's benefits and leave-of-absence policies comply with the law
• Conducting presentations that educate employees about their benefits
• Assisting employees with the enrollment process for savings and insurance schemes
• Informing employees about any changes to the benefits structure
• Ensuring employees know what benefits are offered by the company
• Administer, direct, and review employee benefit programs, including the integration of benefit programs following mergers and acquisitions
• Provide advice on the resolution of classification and salary complaints
• Design, evaluate and modify benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements
• Analyze compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plan
• Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
• Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information
• Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries
• Performs quality checks of benefits-related data
• Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes
• Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility
Candidate Profile And Qualifications
• Experience:
• Proven experience working for an internal Human Resources team, with a focus on benefits administration
• Pointed examples of working with stakeholders including external benefits vendors and internal leadership and employees
• Must bring knowledge of benefits compliance laws
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, equivalent work experience considered
• Soft skills:
• Impeccable communication skills
• Must be a team player
• Strong organizational skills
