Payroll Specialist (Construction)

$65000 - $75000 / year Job Description... • Maintain payroll software database as well as mobile time entry database and application daily • Must have Certified payroll experience • Prepare Union Dues/Fringe Benefit payments and reports • Preparation and submittal of weekly and monthly certified payroll reports • Handle all payroll related inquires from employees and managers • Coordinate with field staff, Foreman, superintendents’ appropriate parties to enable the timely processing of payroll • Verifies and or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to appropriate accounts • Responsible for daily timecard auditing Requirements • Self-starter who is organized, personable and reliable • Experience in the construction industry a plus • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work • Skilled in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook • Filing • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed • Willingness to adapt to change
