The University of Indianapolis is accepting applications for an Adjunct Faculty in Marketing to accommodate growth in its business programs. The Adjunct Faculty in Marketing will plan and conduct courses in the relevant curriculum in a postsecondary environment. He/she will teach undergraduate business courses and plan lessons and assign and grade assignments and exams. In addition, he/she will provide advice for students who are pursuing specific goals.
The adjunct may teach classes in the various business disciplines, including marketing, marketing research & analytics, sports marketing, or business communication. The ideal candidate will have professional experience related to entrepreneurial business creation. This may include work in the areas of business plan creation, small business management, or managing venture finance.
The ideal candidate has an MBA or DBA with field work in marketing. Experience in applied consulting or work experience in the field is also desirable; prior quality teaching experience is essential. Qualified candidates with Master’s degrees will be considered provided they have significant professional experience and sufficient graduate hours in the field.
