Job Posting Summary

The Modern Foreign Languages Program at Mercy College seeks part time, adjunct instructors to teach Spanish to undergraduate students.

Successful candidates may be offered the opportunity to teach up to 3 section(s) per semester.

Commitment to teaching with inclusive excellence is required.

Candidates may also be asked to provide assistance with program assessment and development and to attend select programmatic or professional development meetings.

Location: Courses may be offered at the Dobbs Ferry, Manhattan, or Bronx campuses, or online.

Please attach CV and cover letter which outline your experience teaching college-level courses and the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of three professional references. Please upload all documents as one file. Please do not include any other documentation. Candidates should provide as well a statement of scholarly interests.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Masters or Doctorate from accredited institution in an appropriate academic discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully teaching Spanish on the college-level.
Compensation offered will be commensurate with the educational background and work experience of the individual.
