Must have overall 2.8GPA• Transportation: Interns must have their own transportation to and from work.• Geographical Flexibility: Willing to relocate to one of our ADM locations.• Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required.• Availability: Must be available for a summer internship from mid-May to early August 2025.Professional Development during your internship:• Training Resources: Enhance your skills with unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning courses, language training, and mentoring programs.• Engage with our ERGs ( Employee Resource Groups): Young Professionals ERG, Pride ERG, Vet ERG, Women’s ERG, Black Colleague Alliance ERG, Adelante Hispanic ERG, and more.• Opportunities for Advancement: Based on business needs, interns showing high potential may be offered a returning internship or a full-time position.Job SummarySales interns at ADM will gain exposure in prospecting of potential accounts, customer/product discovery, quoting and negotiation, market intelligence, product applications, sales and marketing activities, and compiling business case scenarios.Job Responsibilities• Prospect and call potential customers• First point of contact for phone and web inquiries, including basic applications support and referral to appropriate channels.• Facilitate and manage product samples and technical document requests and capture all pertinent data. Manage process for potential sale.• Power user of CRM SalesForce.com, daily interaction, logging all pertinent activity and customer notes, manager and updating pipeline.• Understand the needs and the expectations of the customers. Report or provide relevant solutions if necessary.• Work closely with cross-functional team to maximize short and long-term profitable growth.• Channel and log suggestions, inquires and complaints to the appropriate people/systems.• Market research and investigation to related competitive products and marketing strategies.
