Assists with administrative operations in Center for Integrated Modeling for Energy, Resiliency and Sustainability (IERS Center) in the department of Mechanical Engineering within the Washkewicz College of Engineering. Provides administrative support to Center Director(s), center faculty and research students of the center. Implements and maintains various information tracking systems, processes, and procedures to achieve efficient and effective project task implementation required by external funded grants. Serves as center liaison to students, faculty, external advisors and visitors. Administers center budget. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or state recognized equivalent.
- Three (3) years of experience in a general administrative, customer service or clerical role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Administrative, customer service or clerical experience in an academic or higher education institution.

- Ability to comprehend a variety of reference books and manuals including academic-related manuals, processes procedures and University policies and procedures.
- Ability to prepare receipts, logs, memos, reports, letters, routine correspondence, and other job-related documents using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style in accordance with the department and CSU standards.
