The Administrative Assistant will provide support to several Director and Vice President level leaders. Candidates must have experience and success coordinating internal and external meeting logistics, managing budgets/purchase orders and prioritizing various administrative activities.
Candidates must be self-motivated, able to deal with ambiguity and change, and able to demonstrate administrative leadership. Candidates must have exemplary organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong computer skills.
What You’ll Do for Us:
Coordinate internal & external meeting logistics
Manage and track the departmental budget
Create and manage POs
Coordinate lab activities
Manage inventory of lab supplies
Manage training, team building and professional development activities
On-Board new associates, co-ops and interns
Troubleshoot day-to-day issues (e.g., equipment service issues, missing travel documents, computer problems, etc.) in order to promote the smooth, efficient operation of the department.
Qualification & Requirements:
High School Diploma
7 years of related work experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Communication Skills and Business Etiquette: The ability to effectively communicate with others in a professional and helpful manner while building credibility and rapport.
Initiative & Problem Solving: Proactively anticipates critical needs and moves forward with solutions with minimal guidance.
Ability to Maintain Confidentiality: Handles all information with the highest level of confidentiality
