Overview:
Provides a wide variety of confidential administrative and general support to the Primary Care leadership team, primarily the Vice President-Operations. Ensures Mercy Values are reflected in all aspects of the departments operations. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Level I
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of one year previous general clerical experience.
Other: Accurately types 50 wpm and must have knowledge of computers.
Level II
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Two years administrative assistant or clerical experience.
Other: 1. Ability to work with and preserve confidential information. 2. Computer literacy with high skills with Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 3. Excellent interpersonal, communications and organization skills. 4. Ability to deal effectively with diverse groups of people. 5. Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner.
Level III
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of three to five years' secretarial/clerical level experience required.
Other: Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications required. Must have excellent written, oral and human relations skills, attention to detail and follow through and the ability to handle confidential information.
Level IV
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Five years executive secretary experience.
Other skills & knowledge: Ability to work with and preserve confidential information. Computer literacy with intermediate skills with Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent interpersonal, communications and organization skills. Ability to deal effectively with diverse groups of people. Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner.
