Overview:
Atlantic Health System is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant for the Radiology-Administration department at Morristown Medical Center to work Saturday and Sunday, 7AM - 7PM, and Monday, 9AM-5PM.
Responsibilities:
Essential Function/Responsibilities:

Manages phones in the Image Library and/or reading room, perform duties associated with telephone communication, communicate with physicians, residents - hospital wide, nursing stations, OR staff, CPACU, PACU, to discuss readings, issues, procedures needed, etc.

Faxes preliminary results, prepares discs for patients, physicians, physician offices, and downloads prior exams from outside center, hospitals, etc.

Operates PACS & EPIC.

Greets, schedules and registers patients, processes patient requisitions, coordinates patient flow, monitors status of patients waiting for completion of procedures.
- Will follow up on all emergent, actionable findings and technologist QC

Calling in of all team members on call for STAT and emergent patients on off shift times
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience:
-
Minimum one (1) year experience as office assistant/receptionist (preferably in a medical environment) preferred.

Experience with EPIC preferred
