Key Responsibilities:

Lead administrative initiatives of the Quantitative Biosciences Institute (QBI)

Manage budgets and communications for large events and collaborative projects

Coordinate relationships with international partners and institutions

Assist in planning and executing QBI-sponsored events

Create and maintain an organizational system for onboarding and offboarding visiting scientists and students

Oversee vendor relationships and professional service contracts

Manage UCSF platforms and systems for procurement and facilities maintenance
Department Description
UCSF's Temporary Employment Program (TEP) recruits and hires temporary employees for immediate clerical and technical support services to UCSF Departments and various off-campus locations. UCSF departments deploy temporary employees to work on special projects, fill in for regular employees who are on vacation or leave, or to temporarily fill a vacant position during recruitment. Frequently temporary employees become successful candidates for career and limited appointment positions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Project Management

Experience making travel arrangements (booking flight itinerary, accommodations)

Experience scheduling business calendars, ie meetings, events, calls, etc

Demonstrated proficiency with Google Docs and Google Sheet, and G-drive

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Experience with PowerPoint

Experience submitting reimbursements through UCSF’s MyExpense platform

Experience in UCSF’s BearBuy platform setting up vendors, creating purchase orders, assisting with payment to suppliers in BearBuy

Experience with UCSF platforms Connexxus, 25Live, and Qualtrics
