ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT II

TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain job data within the Maintenance Management database.
  • Research, propose, order and track supplies for the Maintenance team.
  • Schedule, maintain, update, and coordinate daily calendars, schedule appointments and meetings.
  • Process and reconcile expense accounts.
  • Interact with high-level external and internal contacts (TE Corporate, vendors) in a professional manner, both by telephone and in person, using discretion and judgment in gathering and disseminating information in a timely manner
  • Effectively and professionally communicate with all levels of the organization and provide proper assistance/information.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain electronic records and SharePoint sites
  • Manage sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality

What your background should look like:


  • Prior experience in maintenance/mechanic shop or a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize work and handle simultaneous assignments with success and accuracy.
  • Excellent organization skills, effective time management with the ability to prioritize work and multi-task with a high attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity and motivation with independent judgment and confidentiality
  • Must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, proactive self-starter, responsive and resourceful
  • Highly flexible, adaptable, and motivated individual with an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact well with all levels of internal personnel
  • Tech savvy with ability to research topics via the internet
  • Previous experience using independent thought processes to plan, process information, maintain workflow and anticipate future needs of the team.

COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $40K-$60K (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
