Illinois Residency Requirement: This position requires Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of the start date.
The Department of the Registrar is currently accepting applications for an Admissions Records Officer to assist current and prospective students by providing a seamless transfer process. This position includes performing transcript evaluation, interpreting IAI and SIUE program curricula, connecting students with SIUE resources, and assisting the Office of Admissions and Office of the Registrar in identifying these students.

Eligibility Criteria and Point Allocation and Proof of Eligibility
30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
60 semester hours or an Associate’s Degree equals eighteen months (18 months)
90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
120 semester hours or a Bachelor’s degree equals three (3) years (36 months)
Knowledge, prior work experience, articulation of transfer credits, and experience in higher education.
In-depth familiarity with university regulations and practices, as well as professional interactions with a variety of university stakeholders, such as faculty, advisors, departmental support staff, chairs, deans, students, parents, and external institutions.
Must retain the capacity to examine and interpret SIUE program curriculum, Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI), and articulation for traditional and post-traditional transfer credit.
Demonstrate a professional manner, have proficiency in interpersonal communication, problem-solving, quick learning, active decision-making, ability to work both independently and with others, comfort with technology, proficiency with MS Office, and excellent data entry skill sets.
