Requisition Summary

The successful candidate will support a team of high performing professionals who pride themselves in developing innovative processes, setting industry standards for quality, and providing cost-effective designs. This internship will support New Product Development and Ongoing Support Team. Duties will be varied among new products and ongoing support related items.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing engineers and other subject matter experts in information and data collection
  • Make recommendations based on data and facts
• Develop, improve and audit current process or documentation
• Develop and present to local and division management on project assignments
• Provide periodic updates on project assignments to manufacturing engineering manager
• Create in PowerPoint and present internship accomplishments at the end of the summer
• Benchmark process controls for critical to quality characteristics and identify best practices
• Analyze Parts using design for manufacturability and assembly principles
• Flexibility to address special projects as they arise

Qualifications

• The candidate must be currently enrolled or recently completed a degree in Engineering or related field, with an interest in data analytics
• Experience with 3D modeling software
• MS Office, specifically excel spreadsheets
• Must be able to work 40hrs per week

Additional Job Board Information
