Position Overview:
Performs quality assurance on manufactured products, ensuring that each leaves the factory as designed and in accordance with customer, engineering and cosmetic requirements. Works with engineering, manufacturing and other technical stakeholders to ensure quality assurance throughout design, development and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides Manufacturing Quality advice and support across multiple product / component areas.
- Writes, reviews and approves change control documentation for complex validation, equipment, facility and/or automation changes.
- Writes and or leads development of revised operating procedures, job aids, control procedures and related quality standards.
- Collaborates with design, engineering, manufacturing and allied teams to ensure quality standards are comprehensive and fit for purpose.
- Participates as a subject matter expert in deviation management investigations.
- Develops and/or implements statistical sampling plans to monitor product design, development and production.
- Communicates and escalates quality, customer satisfaction and program performance issues.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- May require technical certification of Associate Degree.
- Generally, 7+ years’ experience in area of responsibility.
