Join us in connecting people to commerce in this vital, rewarding role.Leads Diebold Nixdorf’s Global Protective Services compliance program to ensure compliance with policies, requirements, standards and regulation associated with physical security. Provides objective guidance, support, and advice to promote strong compliance controls and processes are in effect to mitigate inherent associated risks.Monitors business, operational and organizational activity and developments to identify, assess and articulate potential compliance issues and associated risk. Evaluates internal operations, controls, communications and documentation to ensure compliance, offering recommendations for improvement as necessary. Coordinates and / or performs the preparation of documentation in support of internal and external audits and inspections. Serves as point of contact for regulatory and other external parties on compliance matters.Responsibilities• Assists the Director, Global Protective Services in providing oversight and direction of the compliance program. Executes procedures and maintains evidence in support of compliance requirements.• Coordinates with Global Protective Services personnel to ensure compliance requirements are met, including training, policies, procedures are followed.• Empowered to make prudent professional decisions in rendering advice to business lines or assigned areas, on compliance matters and risks which may impact performance of the business and department strategies and objectives.• Provides advanced analysis and/or specialized reporting to support business partners, functional areas or centers of expertise.• Leads the review and development of all documentation, such as policies, procedures and standards. Research, review and maintain expertise on requirements, standards, and regulations, as well as policies and procedures.• Acts as the primary subject matter expert for requirements applicable to the business and department, and provides guidance, consultation and expert advice with respect to compliance. Advises the business with respect to the implementation of new and amended requirements.• Independently performs targeted and periodic monitoring of activities for compliance with regulatory requirements and regulator expectation.• Responsible for the oversight of remediation of issues, including exercising discretion and independent judgment in reviewing and approving remediation action plans. Identifies and communicates areas of non-compliance and/or material control weaknesses, as well as proposes solutions to mitigate the issues discovered.• Primary contact for business management, external/internal auditors, dealing with non-routine information.• Maintains an ongoing awareness of existing and potential requirements that may affect the Global Protective Services program. Assists with preventative security programs, including development of presentations.• Continually fosters a culture and environment in support of meeting industry, regulatory and customer compliance requirements.• Expected to exercise sound and expert independent professional judgment and discretion in interacting and communicating with staff and senior management with respect to significant compliance matters.• Participates in standard compliance monitoring, audits and risk assessments.• Reviews compliance files and obtains additional necessary and/or missing information.• Builds positive working relationships with supported business stakeholders, compliance and legal colleagues and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.QualificationsRequired Qualifications• Diploma or equivalent work experience required.• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Compliance Administration.• Good business English skills (Written and spoken).• Professional role requiring in-depth knowledge/expertise in compliance and working knowledge of broader related areas.• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time (potential for both domestic and international)• Proficient level of use with MS Office Suite.Preferred Qualifications• Knowledge of physical security or industry standards, requirements and regulations.• Professional Certification, such as ISO Auditor and Quality Management• Bilingual proficiency in German or Spanish is preferredSalary Range: $73,000 to $83,000.
