Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Manager

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Manager who will play a crucial role in shaping our company culture, ensuring compliance with HR standards, and fostering a welcoming and supportive work environment. The HR & Talent Acquisition Manager will exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance for employee relations/development, and recruiting.  This role is responsible for talent acquisition, HR compliance, and employee relations/development, and various other Human Resources functions to support a high-performance culture that aligns with our company’s core values.

Essential Functions:

  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
    • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates aligned with our core values.
    • Conduct in-depth candidate assessments to evaluate skills, cultural fit, and alignment with company values.
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure the hiring process is efficient, inclusive, and timely.
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, pre-employment and onboarding initiatives, to create a positive candidate experience.
    • Collaborate and provide training to team leaders in hiring practices ensuring regulatory standards and cultural match.
  • HR Compliance/Administration  Best Practices
    • Ensure all HR policies and practices comply with legal regulations, staying updated on labor laws, industry standards, and emerging HR trends while reducing legal risks.
    • Develop and implement procedures that adhere to state and federal labor regulations, fostering a safe and respectful workplace.
    • Oversee employee documentation, maintain records and other administrative tasks involving HR functions to ensure compliance with HR regulations.
    • Recommend and process adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses, compensation, etc.
    • Keep detailed records of employee insurance information including properly informing and handling employee benefits.
  • Employee Development & Mentorship
    • Design and implement programs for employee development, including training, performance reviews, and mentorship.
    • Collaborate with managers to mentor employees, providing guidance on career progression and personal development.
    • Collaborate with team leaders to identify opportunities for employee skill-building and professional growth.
    • Act as a resource for employees, addressing concerns and fostering open communication to build trust within the organization.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • 5-7+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment, compliance, and employee relations. Master’s degree in a related subject preferred.
  • HR certification preferred (HRCI/SHRM).
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Microsoft application fluency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and Teams.
