Summary:
This position requires a people person who is passionate, creative, organized, digitally savvy, detail-oriented, idea-generating, and solution-driven. Your role as a writer/editor, content marketing strategist, and consultant is a key component of our award-winning Advisor Marketing Team. This position has two main areas of focus: first, to develop and execute content for our marketing platforms (available exclusively to our financial professionals), and second, to help financial professionals (on a consultative and/or executional basis) grow their business through marketing best practices. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow the library of communication materials developed for financial professional use, ensuring that content is unique, meaningful, and relevant to financial professionals’ clientele.

Manage end-to-end content creation process, including copywriting, editing, and reviewing for appropriate platform voice and format, generating ideas for new content, intake of content requests from financial professionals, assignments to freelance team as needed, Ad Supervision submission and approval, following content tracking and storage protocols, management of aging content, etc.

Develop/implement/refine the process for continuously evaluating how content is used by platform subscribers (and how it performs with its intended audience) to improve and strengthen offerings and streamline the content creation process.

Conduct in-person and/or webinar marketing consultations with financial professionals to:
- understand their unique business needs and/or,
- analyze strengths and deficiencies of current marketing activities and channels
- provide recommendations to help them achieve their objectives (preferably using tools and services available through Advisor Group).

Deliver an outstanding “white glove” customer service experience to our financial professionals while demonstrating deep financial marketing expertise and knowledge.

Educate financial professionals about content marketing, social media marketing, and digital marketing strategies and tactics.

Based on learnings and feedback gained from advisor consultations, bring new ideas to the team to improve and enhance our overall marketing platforms and offerings.

Identify and follow digital and content marketing trends to bring best practices to the team.

Regularly collaborate with business lines, marketing teammates, and other key stakeholders on a variety of projects.

Deliver a great marketing experience to our financial professionals - you will represent our brand and be an internal liaison for all marketing initiatives.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Financial licensing or designations a plus.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience writing and editing content for use in digital marketing efforts including email and social media.

Experience in B2B and B2C marketing with a focus on client/public-facing communication.

Marketing experience at a financial services company, working with financial professionals, and/or at an advertising agency on a financial services client account.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a willingness to try creative approaches to business-building.

In-depth knowledge of marketing best practices and principles, including digital presence, email marketing, website branding, and social media marketing.

Strong service orientation.

Comfort with public speaking and leading education or work-session events

Bonus points if you have experience in graphic design, layout, and use of Adobe design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
