AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Tampa, Florida on December 5 and December 6. If you're a current college engineering student and you are graduating in December 2024 or May 2025, we'd love to hear from you!

We encourage creativity, support flexibility, value diversity and embrace the new and the ground-breaking. At AECOM, you’ll be exposed to more technical excellence and disciplines than anywhere else, working with visionary clients, partners, colleagues and mentors.

We have a wide variety of internship programs available to meet your needs so you can balance both your personal and professional aspirations.

The event kicks off on Thursday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.

On Friday, interviews will take place at our Tampa office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting immediately and in Spring/Summer 2025.

While many opportunities are based in the Tampa area, we are also seeking candidates interested in positions throughout AECOM locations across the United States. Please indicate your preferred locations during the application process.

Job Description

We are seeking candidates for our Environmental business line which focuses on Environmental Engineering including site investigation, remediation, redevelopment, environmental health safety and compliance.

Qualifications

  • To be considered for this exciting invitation only event, please apply today! Please make sure to provide us with all of the information requested during the application process so we can ensure we find the right opportunity for you in the right location!
  • Candidates must be on track to graduate by June 2025 from a university / college pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering. Related engineering disciplines may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience / knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, Bluebeam).
  • Coursework in chemistry, geology, environmental design or related.

 

Additional Information

  • As a condition of employment, some roles may require travel and a Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Offered rates of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work locations.
